The Coaching Process

I follow a holistic approach to coaching because it considers the whole person when creating goals and tactics. All areas of life are seen as interconnected. Sometimes the focus is more on professional topics, sometimes clients seek guidance in a variety of areas, simultaneously. 
Whatever your concerns are, one major benefit of coaching is greater self-awareness. Clients have an opportunity to reflect in a non-judgmental space. They review situations, goals, and interactions and become more aware of what makes them tick.
This is the basis to formulate clear and motivating goals and develop realistic strategies to reach them.

Professional Experience

  • 17 years experience in High-Tech Companies in different management positions
  • As Human Resources Manager responsible for the professional development of technical experts and leaders
  • Self-employed as Trainer, Coach and Business Mediator since 2003

Industry:

For more than 25 years, I have cooperated with international professionals in various industries: High Tech, Development of Software- and Systems, Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Automation, Management Consulting.

As Human Resources Manager, I was responsible for the talent management process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, the monitoring of training needs and development of employee training programs.

I provided guidance and support to managers and employees, conducted soft skills workshops, coaching sessions and was involved in conflict management and resolution.

Science:

Since 2003, I accompanied international PhD and Medical Doctoral Students (of Universities, Max Planck and other scientific Institutes) with individual Counceling/Coaching Session through the ups and downs of their doctorate.

I also offer support to those who supervise and guide them: PostDocs, Group Leaders, PIs and Science Managers.
